Richard Wayne Cressall of Sandy, Utah, passed away on July 22, 2026, at the age of 67.

He was born into a large family, the 8th child of 10 on February 4, 1959, to Adrian Delbert Cressall and Pearl Hopkinson Cressall in Sandy, Utah.

He attended Hillcrest High School and, in his professional life, was a master of concrete and construction.

He married Vickie Cressall (Despain) in 1979, and they were married for 16 years. Together they had two children, Trisha Jones and Tyler Cressall.

Richard enjoyed everything outdoors and was known for the countless stories he could tell from his memories of hunting and fishing around Utah. In addition to his stories, Richard could draw and paint strikingly accurate depictions of wildlife.

He is survived by his two children, Trisha Jones, and Tyler (Crystal) Cressall; eight grandchildren; siblings, Shirley (Jim) Miller, Terry Cressall, Allen (Barbara) Cressall, Gary Cressall, Judy (Lyle) Atwood.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Adrian Cressall and Pearl Cressall; siblings, Jack Cressall, Lynn Cressall, Carol Davidson, and Bonnie Thomas.
