JoDell
Muller
Aug 27, 1955 — Sep 19, 2026
JoDell Tucker Muller, 71, of Price, Utah, passed away peacefully at her home on September 19, 2026, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She was surrounded by all of her children.
JoDell was born to QueDell and Dorothy Tucker. She married Brent Tatton, and together they had three children. They later divorced, and JoDell went on to marry Richard Muller, with whom she shared her life and her passion for caring for others. Through her marriage to Richard, her family grew to include his daughters, Kansas, Jessica, Crystal, and Jaimie, and their children.
JoDell devoted much of her life to serving individuals with special needs through the Castle Valley Center and NES. She and Richard also opened their home and their hearts to Diana, Christy, Brent, Jason, and Wayne. Helping others was not simply JoDell’s work it was who she was. She continued caring for and helping those around her until the very end.
JoDell loved being outdoors, tending to her beautiful yard, and spending time with the people she loved most. She adored her beloved animals, Opie, her faithful dog, and Cooper, her cherished cat, who brought her great comfort and companionship.
Above all, JoDell was devoted to her family. She loved her children fiercely and treasured every moment with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. To them, she was affectionately known as “Grandma Lickens,” a name that will forever bring memories of her love, laughter, strength, and one of a kind spirit.
JoDell is survived by her mother, Dorothy Tucker of Price; her children, Brian (Jennifer) Tatton of Price, Jaci Tatton of Salt Lake City, and Ricci (Joe) Sadar of Salt Lake City; her grandchildren, Derick, Preston, Kurtis, Garett, Macen (Barissa), and Traylee (Etimani); her great-grandchildren, Joseph, Samuel, Montgomery, and Magnolia; her siblings, Geri, Jenny, Jacquelyn, and Jeff; and her bonus son, Wayne Cormani. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends whose lives were made better by knowing her.
JoDell was preceded in death by her father, QueDell Tucker; her husband, Richard Muller; her sister, Julie Christiansen; her niece, Misty Jo; and her grandson, Austin Smith.
JoDell leaves behind a beautiful legacy of compassion, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed, but the kindness she gave so freely and the love she planted in the hearts of others will continue to grow for generations.
