Obituary

PRICE- Glenn Ben Brady, lovingly known to many as grandpa, passed away peacefully in Price, Utah on June 25, 2026, at the age of 92.

He was born on December 28, 1933, in Huntington, Utah to Benjamin Glen Brady and Janeal Marshall Brady.

Glenn married Shirley Christensen on April 27, 1955 in the Manti, Utah Temple.

Glenn’s early life was marked by hardship, after the loss of his father, circumstances left him and his brothers to care for one another. At just 10 years old, he began selling firewood to help put food on the table for his younger brothers. Those early experiences shaped the foundation of a man who would spend his life making sure others were cared for. Later, Glenn and his brothers were welcomed into the home of his foster parents, John and Janeal Aldridge. They opened their hearts and their farm not only to Glenn, but also to his three younger brothers, Edward, Clifford, and Devon. Together they worked the farm, caring for chickens, cows, and horses, and learned the values of hard work, integrity, and family.

Glenn loved the time he spent on the farm in Rock Canyon and often said that John was the best father he had ever known. The love and stability he received there stayed with him throughout his life. Glenn carried those lessons forward in everything he did. To many he was known as grandpa. He made it his mission that no one ever left his home hungry. His pancakes became a symbol of his love—simple, warm, and always shared with anyone who walked through his door. What he gave people was more than food; it was belonging, comfort, and care. He had a deep love of the outdoors, his animals and especially his honeybees. Each year he planted clover to ensure his bees had enough forage. He understood patience, stewardship, and the quiet reward of caring for something beyond oneself. Like the bees he tended, Glenn lived a life of steady, faithful work that created something sweet for others.

He was a lifelong hunter who loved bow hunting and fishing. One of his family’s most cherished memories is fishing together at Bear Creek, where he showed both strength and tenderness in a single moment, pulling a loved one from swift water without hesitation, a true reflection of his protective heart.

Glenn was also a proud veteran, having served his country with honor and humility. Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His greatest legacy is not found in Possessions or achievements, but in the love he gave so freely and the lives he shaped along the way.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Christensen Brady; his sons, Tim Brady, Kim Brady and Alvin Glen (Lisa) Brady; his daughter, Shelly Brady (Alfonso “Al”) Garcia; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Vickie Ann Brady Humphreys; his sons, Ricky Glen Brady and Benjamin Glen Brady; brothers, Clifford Brady and Delmont Bud Brady; his sisters, Dorothy Brady Starks and Beth Brady; his birth parents, Benjamin Glen Brady and Janeal Marshall Brady; foster parents, John and Janeal Aldridge.

Glenn’s legacy lives on in every act of kindness, every shared meal, every field of clover, every humming bee, and every memory of a man who made sure no one ever left his table hungry. He really did make the best pancakes ever.
